Get to know Héctor

Héctor Lebrón-González is a Senior Member of our Corporate, Commercial Real Estate and Notarial Practice as well as the Estate & Asset Protection Planning Practice Groups. His main area of practice includes notary work, general corporate law, contracts, real estate, residential and commercial lending, estate planning matters and promotional contest rules matters.

He has vast experience conducting due diligence for real estate transactions and matters related to the Registry of Property for both residential and commercial closings. Héctor’s practice also includes handling general corporate matters such as the organization and corporate governance for local and foreign entities. He is also actively engaged in the drafting and execution of transactional work including mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations of our corporate clients.

Héctor also assists our clients in the preparation of wills, testaments and matters related to trusts and estates as well as the drafting of contest rules and all complementary documentation required for said contests.

Héctor is an accomplished athlete. While attending Brigham Young University, he was twice named NCAA Men’s Volleyball Champion, two time All American Honors and 2001 NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Player of the Year. He was recently inducted to the Brigham Young University Hall of Fame.

What is your primary focus?

My main primary focus is notary work. Through work performed around the notary practice, I’ve been able to focus on the process of drafting and executing complex residential and commercial real estate transactions as well prepare and negotiate the financing agreements for these matters. I also work on the underlying real estate financing documentation for the development of hotels in Puerto Rico.

I work as hard as I can to be responsive and complete transactions in a timely and cost-efficient manner. I’ve developed excellent relationships with both our clientele and opposing counsel in commercial transactions and see every deal as an opportunity to expand my professional associations. Also, my clients know that I always try to stay informed of business opportunities that might be of interest to them.
