ABI 2016 Caribbean Insolvency Symposium
Join ABI (American Bankruptcy Institute) as we return to Puerto Rico for the 2016 Caribbean Insolvency Symposium. The educational program has been designed to provide attendees with an interactive learning experience focusing on insolvency issues in the Caribbean and beyond, with special sessions devoted to Puerto Rico’s growing fiscal crisis. A faculty of prominent bankruptcy judges and experienced practitioners will ensure a top-notch learning experience and ample networking opportunities, all in a beautiful, tropical setting. Attendees can earn up to 10.25/12 hours of CLE/CPE credit, including 1 hour of ethics! The dates for this event are February 4-6, Ritz-Carlton, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
During the event, attorneys Gustavo A. Chico-Barris, Esq. and Robert F. Náter-Lebrón, Esq. will be participating as speakers on two different panels regarding Puerto Rico’s homestead exemption in chapter 13 cases and the financial crisis impact on the Healthcare Industry. Also, Sonia Colón, Esq., is an Advisory Board member of the ABI 2016 Caribbean Insolvency Symposium.
