Get to know Melissa
Melissa M. Bayona Torres joined Ferraiuoli in October 2021 as an Associate Attorney for the Intellectual Property Department. At Ferraiuoli, Melissa assists clients with a variety of intellectual property matters, such as advertisement, entertainment, trademark registration, prosecution and infringement litigation, trade secrets, licensing, copyrights, right of publicity, patent drafting and prosecution.
Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Melissa was a research assistant for the Center to Foster Innovation and Commercialization from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR i+c), where she assisted start-ups on intellectual property matters and worked alongside the University of Puerto Rico’s Office of Intellectual Property in patent licensing matters.
