Karla-In Encarnación Pak joined Ferraiuoli in October 2024 as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group.
Karla-In participated in Ferraiuoli’s Summer and Semester Programs in 2023 and 2024. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Law Clerk at a local boutique law firm specializing in Intellectual Property.
During her Juris Doctor studies, Karla-In actively contributed to the Intellectual Property and Startups Pro Bono program. In her third year, she also participated in the Legal Assistance Clinic for Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. Karla-In earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, she successfully completed the Puerto Rico Bar Exam, securing the 14th position in the September 2024 examination.
At Ferraiuoli, Karla-In supports clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters, including entertainment law, copyright and trademark registration, prosecution and infringement litigation, licensing, and right of publicity.
