Get to know Juan Carlos
Juan Carlos Bou-Cardona is an Of Counsel of the firm’s Corporate Department Practice Group. Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Juan Carlos served as General Counsel and Secretary to Board of Directors of Arco Capital Corporation Ltd. and Bond Street Management LLC until 2015. He managed legal, compliance and corporate governance functions of various registered investment advisers and managed funds. He also conducted forensic underwriting of various defaulted investments (including CLOs) and directed recovery and litigation strategies leading to multi-million dollar recoveries. Juan Carlos also lead the restructuring and refinancing of a more than $120 million real estate credit facility with leading international commercial banks and successfully replaced hostile special servicer.
Juan Carlos’ practice is concentrated in the areas of Securities and Corporate Law including financing, M&A, banking and general corporate law matters. He also advises on compliance related matters including AML, RIAs, insider trading, whistle-blower regulation, FCPA, SOX, the Investment Companies Act and Dodd Frank
