Get to know José
José G. Berrios Joined Ferraiuoli in October 2026 as an Associate in Corporate law and Real Estate and Notarial legal practice.
José participated in the 2025 and 2026 as a law clerk in both semester and summer program. Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, José worked as an intern in the Real Property Evaluation and Disposal Committee (CEDBI), an independent agency branch at Puerto Rico Fiscal Agency and Financial Authority.
José earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. After completing his undergraduate studies, he focused on supporting early-stage ventures such as Meet Your Finance and Ilusión Óptica Films, among others, providing financial structuring and operational logistics guidance to help small businesses achieve stability and scale.
He later obtained his law degree from the University of Puerto Rico, where his studies centered on Puerto Rico’s economic development—connecting investment opportunities with community outcomes while preserving mutual benefit for all parties and encouraging the responsible formation and use of corporate entities by individuals and organized communities. In his final year, he participated in the Economic and Community Development Clinic, contributing to the administrative structure of a housing cooperative, analyzing tax credits available to businesses, organized communities, and nonprofits, and assisting residents of the El Caño Martín Peña community with succesoral matters.
At Ferraiuoli, he works across multiple fronts in the Corporate Department, supporting clients and the firm’s legal team on real estate transactions, notarial matters, and coordination with administrative agencies, while also assisting in the drafting, review, and negotiation of corporate and real estate transactional agreements.
Why Ferraiuoli?
Opportunity. Innovation. Action. At Ferraiuoli, problems are not only resolved efficiently—that is a given—but we manage to understand their complexity, and given the experience and active collaboration of each individual at Ferraiuoli, we are able to provide answers and solutions that can only be obtained by dominating the law and thinking outside the box when is needed. It is not just a law firm, but a place where we seek to deliver added value and opportunities where others only see problems.
What is your primary focus?
My approach is to provide added value in every situation for the benefit of Ferraiuoli’s clients and friends. Achieving success is something collective, and the commitment is not only to do something well, but that excellence always results in a next opportunity. Always looking forward.
What do you find most rewarding?
Our clients are always satisfied. The support team, as well as the legal team, is always committed, and we all collaborate with the mission of being excellent in every moment of our work. It doesn’t feel like you have to fight for the minimum—everything feels aligned.
