Get to know Ivonne
Ivonne Nieves Dávila is an Associate Attorney for the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.
Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Ivonne worked in other law firms specialized in Litigation, mainly focused on medical malpractice, torts and commercial disputes, both at trial and appellate levels.
During law school, Ivonne worked as a law clerk in a San Juan law firm, while she was a Member of Public Relations of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review, and Spokesperson of the Pro Bono Program of Intellectual Property and Startups.

Education
Nathalia S. Marrero Méndez is an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment and Employee Benefits & ERISA Matters Practice Group. Nathalia’s practice encompasses a broad range of labor and employment issues, including employment litigation before state and administrative forums. She also provides compliance and preventive consulting on matters related to labor and employment laws, employee benefits, and ERISA.
Her work includes handling cases of wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and sexual harassment, as well as issues related to wages and hours. Nathalia is adept at guiding clients through the hiring process, workforce reductions, and internal investigations. Additionally, Nathalia manages the drafting and implementing of workplace policies and analyzing and applying legislation and regulations pertinent to human resources.
Additionally, Nathalia provides guidance on a wide range of employment matters, including the management of statutory leaves such as vacation, sick leave, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA). She also offers counsel on negotiating and drafting employment agreements, including non-competition, confidentiality, and non-solicitation clauses, as well as severance and confidential release agreements, to minimize risk and avoid potential litigation. Furthermore, Nathalia supports clients with ERISA-related issues, including the design and administration of pension and welfare plans and navigating audit proceedings with the U.S. Department of Labor.
Prior joining Ferraiuoli, Nathalia worked at a boutique law firm specializing in labor and employment litigation, compliance, and commercial litigation. During law school, she gained valuable experience as a summer law clerk to Judge Flores Garcia at the Puerto Rico Appellate Court. Nathalia also participated in the Gender and Sexual Orientation Discrimination Clinic, where she began her focus on labor and employment issues. Additionally, she served as Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal and as Vice President of the Litigation Association.
