Sonia Colón, Esq. Host Panelist at the Hispanic Business Conference & Expo 2016
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce presented on the Hispanic Business Conference & Expo 2016 Sonia Colón, Esq. as one of the host panelist for the event of Puerto Rico: De la crisis a la oportunidad. The Board presented the current situation in which the country lives before the possibility of facing the imposition of a fiscal control board and provided an overview of the economic achievements that has been able to build up the island is the past years.
Colón indicated that companies like Ferraiuoli, which have begun to offer their services in Florida, have served as a link for Puerto Rican entrepreneurs who want to expand their business in the United States and the Latin community residing in that city. She also quotes: “Florida is a different atmosphere. To do business here you have to understand and know this market and recognize the opportunities. Many Hispanic businesses established here are using Florida as its “hub” and that is giving them excellent results”.
