American Bankruptcy Institute to Launch Pilot Mentorship Program
The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Diversity and the Inclusion Working Group will present Sonia Colon, Esq. as one of the Mentoring Subcommittee Member for the Pilot Mentorship Program. The Mentoring Program will launch on March 4 to connect active or recently graduated business and law students with past ABI presidents who are offering professional development guidance.
Throughout the program, mentors and mentees will discuss ethical issues, common malpractice risks and traps, career goals, debt-management, client confidentiality, timekeeping and client-billing, maintaining good client communications, client development, negotiating with other parties, and information related to bankruptcy-related disclosures under Bankruptcy Rule 2014.
