NOTICE TO CLIENTS AND FRIENDS

Regulation on Microgrid Development (“Regulation 9028”).

On October 11th, 2023, the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau of the Puerto Rico Public Service Regulatory Board (“Energy Bureau”) announced the initiation of an informal process to receive feedback from stakeholders and the general public for the potential revision to the Regulation on Microgrid Development[1] (“Regulation 9028”). In compliance with Act 38-2017[2], the shareholders and/or general public may submit their written comments regarding potential changes within thirty (30) days following the issuance of the proposed regulation. Therefore, the deadline for the submission of the written comments is on November 9th, 2023. The comments may be filed through any of the following means:

  • Via email to the following address: comentarios@nulljrsp.pr.gov;
  • Online, using the Energy Bureau’s Electronic Filing System, at the following address: https://radicacion.energia.pr.gov;
  • By postal mail addressed to the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau’s Clerk’s Office, at World Plaza Building, 268 Muñoz Rivera Ave., Suite 202, San Juan, PR 00918; or
  • In person at the Energy Bureau’s Clerk’s Office, located at the address set forth above.
