Francisco Javier Cardona-Reyes

Francisco Javier Cardona-Reyes joined Ferraiuoli LLC as an Associate Attorney for the Corporate Department. Before joining the firm, he served as a Law Clerk to Associate Justice Luis F. Estrella Martínez of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court. Additionally, he worked as a Special Advisor at the Puerto Rico Fiscal Agency and Financial Advisory Authority (“FAFAA”). There, he focused on different matters relating to the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act (“PROMESA”) and FAFAA’s role as the Fiscal Agent for the Government of Puerto Rico. In addition, he has previously worked as an intern in various financial institutions and at McConnell Valdés LLC.

While in law school, Francisco served as Associate Director and member of the Board of Directors of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review. During his last year of Law School, Mr. Cardona Reyes was a student practitioner in the Mediation Legal Aid Clinic, where he learned and got a full grasp on alternate dispute resolution. Furthermore, he obtained the highest score on the September 2017 administration of the Puerto Rico Bar Exam.

Francisco is currently working on his Executive LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center.
